Indigenous students continue to find themselves on the fringe of higher education, with enrolment numbers remaining substantially below population parity. The ramifications of this issue are far-reaching.
LEVO has chosen not to retreat behind these stark statistics, viewing this instead as a signal to make sure Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people have their fair share in the digital world.
This initiative is born from the firm’s partnership with University of Technology Sydney (UTS), with LEVO committing to fund a four-year undergraduate degree in technology for a deserving Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student.
To provide a holistic learning experience and to equip program scholars with real-world skills, LEVO is also offering a paid internship and guidance of a mentor from the firm’s leadership team, ensuring the successful student receives the necessary support to help them succeed in their education journey and beyond.
